Doing Dentistry anywhere is a very demanding, not only Singapore. I had to take a number of Foundation courses before I was accepted. But all the efforts have been paid off. I am very happy with my choice.
The selection process is very hard. I followed the process very strictly, as I dont want to miss my chance. In the process of visa application, you need to be very careful with what is required.
There are a number of schiolarships offered to international students for all courses. But the intake of internatioanl students for Dentistry is very restricted. In order to secure financial life, you need to study very hard and take part in a lot of extra-curricular activiites.
The course is very comprehensive and intensive. I spent about 45 hours to study each week. The lectueres and tutors are very busy with their schedule, but they are always willing to answer our questions. THe programme requires us to work very hard, so be prepared for that. You will feel very honoured that you are accepted in the programme beause there are not many international students to be accepted. .
The univeristy facilites are very ,pderm. the Uni has connections with the Hospital. There is a lot of chances for itnernships, and you will be exposed to a very modern infrastructures. I did not find part time work, as it would take a lot of time from my study.
My job prospects boost a lot thanks to my studies at this University. I will be joining the alumni association. I am working in a hospital in Singapore, and I am very happy with my job.
